Split system cleaning
Most aircon “cleans” are a filter wipe-down. Ours goes much further. We dismantle the casing to properly access and deep clean the blower fan, evaporator coil, drain pan, filters and casing using our low-tox cleaning solution. Every unit is photographed before and after so you can see exactly what came out.

Low-tox process
Clean air shouldn’t come with a chemical smell.
- Cleaning vinegar, hot water, clove oilThree ingredients, and that is the whole mix. Used to clean mould, grime and internal build-up without harsh chemicals.
- Mixed fresh at the start of each jobThe solution is made up on site for every clean.
- Clove oil, standard but optionalClove oil is included as standard in our aircon cleaning solution, but can be removed on request if you would prefer us not to use it.
- Lower-tox for kids and petsDesigned for households wanting a lower-tox approach, including homes with young kids and pets. No harsh chemical smell, and we're happy to discuss the ingredients before your clean.
- Extra care inside your homeBefore opening the unit, we protect the surrounding floors, walls and furniture with drop sheets and our purpose-made aircon cleaning bags. An air purifier runs during the clean to help capture airborne particles disturbed during the process. We also thoroughly clean our equipment between jobs to reduce the risk of cross-contamination from one home to another.

How often should a split system be cleaned?

Common questions
Do you remove the blower fan or evaporator coil?
No. The casing is dismantled for proper access, and the filters, blower fan, evaporator coil, drip tray, drain hose and full casing are thoroughly cleaned using our low-tox solution. Removable components are taken outside and pressure cleaned.
Will my unit need mould removal?
If it has been more than 12 months since the unit was professionally cleaned, or you're unsure when it was last done, there is a greater chance additional mould removal may be required. If it is needed, we'll confirm the additional $69 before carrying out that work.
Why is there a separate mould removal charge?
Heavy mould and internal build-up require additional time, PPE, setup, cleaning and pack-down compared with our standard deep clean. Our technicians carrying out this process are trained in the additional mould-removal procedure. Mould removal is $69 per affected unit and is confirmed before the additional work is carried out.
Can you leave out the clove oil?
Yes. Clove oil is included as standard in our aircon cleaning solution, but can be removed on request if you would prefer us not to use it.
Do you travel to my suburb?
Travel is included across the local Gold Coast area. Further out, a travel fee applies from Tallai: Zone 1, up to 45 min from Tallai, $99. Zone 2, 45–90 min from Tallai, $149. Zone 3, 90 min or more from Tallai, $199. Send your suburb through and we'll confirm your zone before you book.
